Our schools are minimising the number of visitors they receive, as well as the amount of time visitors spend on the school premises, during the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. This will help to minimise group mixing and make it easier to maintain social distancing in school.
We expect all visitors to: 1. only visit the school premises if absolutely necessary. Please phone instead, request a call or request an online meeting if possible. 2. not enter the premises if you or any members of your household have symptoms of coronavirus. 3. clean your hands with alcohol gel (provided) when you enter and leave the building. 4. follow the same procedures as those in place for staff, ie social distancing (2m), avoid touching surfaces and do not enter areas of the school without the permission of staff.
Thank you for your support in keeping our pupils, staff and families safe.

Welcome to Year 1 and Meet the Teachers
Please have a look at our 'Welcome to Year 1' PowerPoint and 'Meet the Teachers' video.
Children in Year One will still have access to Bug Club, teachers will check and update twice a week. Children are expected to read at least two books a week and answer the comprehension questions linked to the book. If you have school reading books at home, please return them to your class teacher. Unfortunately we are unable to send reading books home at the moment.
Homework will be set weekly on the home learning section of the website. It will be updated on a Friday and may require an email response to the class teacher by the following Monday.
PE and Games
Children have PE each Wednesday and Thursday. Children are able to wear their PE kits to school on those days. As it is very chilly, please could children wear their team coloured PE T-shirt, long black trousers and black jackets/sweatshirts - thank you.
