Our schools are minimising the number of visitors they receive, as well as the amount of time visitors spend on the school premises, during the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. This will help to minimise group mixing and make it easier to maintain social distancing in school.
We expect all visitors to: 1. only visit the school premises if absolutely necessary. Please phone instead, request a call or request an online meeting if possible. 2. not enter the premises if you or any members of your household have symptoms of coronavirus. 3. clean your hands with alcohol gel (provided) when you enter and leave the building. 4. follow the same procedures as those in place for staff, ie social distancing (2m), avoid touching surfaces and do not enter areas of the school without the permission of staff.
Thank you for your support in keeping our pupils, staff and families safe.
On behalf of the Local Governing Body, I would like to welcome you to our school.
The governors are a group of dedicated people who work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and the whole school to ensure that your children obtain the excellent education that they all deserve. We also work to ensure that your children are safe and happy in our school and they treat each other and all members of the school community with respect.
As governors, we regularly meet and review progress and challenge the school to meet ever increasing targets and standards. We also visit the school classrooms during regular governor days so that we can meet and talk to teachers and children during a normal school day- each governor is allocated a year group and they then move up the school with the same children.
Should you wish to contact me you can do so via the following email address: email@example.com
Alternatively pop into reception and leave a message along with your contact details, and I will get in touch with you.
Mr Michael Carter - Chair of Local Governors
