Year 1 Phonics Screener Information for Parents
Year 1 Information
Reading Books
Children are expected to read daily and the can read the same book more than once to build on their understanding and fluency. School reading books will be changed every Tuesday.
Homework
Homework will be set every Monday and spelling tests will take place the following Monday. Please have a look on the home learning section of the website.
PE and Games
The children have PE on Tuesday and Wednesday. Children are able to wear their PE kits to school on those days. As it is very chilly, please could children wear their team coloured PE T-shirt, long black trousers and black jacket/sweatshirt - thank you.
Breakfast Club and After School Club
In Autumn Term 1, Breakfast club will take place in Cherry class and is run by Miss Wells.
In Autumn Term 1, After-school club will take place in Willow class and is run by Miss Wells.
