You’re Invited: Widey Court Children’s Art Exhibition We are delighted to invite our school community to come and celebrate the creativity of our children at the upcoming Widey Court Art Exhibition. We are proud to share that Widey Court is the first school to be invited to exhibit children’s artwork at Devonport Market Hall - a wonderful recognition of the creativity and talent within our school. From colourful paintings to imaginative designs, the exhibition showcases a wide range of artwork created by our young artists. The exhibition will be open from 14th – 21st February, and we would love families and community members to come along, take a look, and support our children. Opening times are: Monday - Friday, 8.30 - 3.30 Saturday, 9.30 - 4.00 Sunday, 9.30 - 2.00 There is no charge to come and see the exhibitions, but you could pair a visit with a dome screening over half term! We are very proud of our Year 3 / 4 teams who have represented the school this week at football tournaments and indoor athletics! We are so proud of you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Thank you to all the staff who took them and braved the weather outdoors!

Parents/Carers are invited to join us for 3 Spring Craft sessions with On Course Southwest. These dates will be 24th Feb, 3rd March & the 10th March 9.15-11.15. You must be able to attend all 3 sessions as you will be working on the same piece of craft. We would like to say a huge congratulations to Swetha in Year 4! We are so proud of her as she has come 2nd in the Devon UNDER 14 (yes, under 14 and she is 9!!!!) Chess Open Cup! ⭐️♟️⭐️♟️

It was an early start leaving school at 5am, but Year 6 have had the most fabulous day at Kensington Palace! Thank you Mr Rea for organising this trip and for the team of staff who have accompanied them! 👑⭐️

Young Voices 2026 🎶⭐️💚 What an amazing group of children! Thank you Mrs Irvine for organising this opportunity! A 6am start and an afternoon rehearsal! We are getting ready for the concert to start at 7pm! We can’t wait!

Our fabulous Rock Steady Bands performed live in front of their family members and Years 3, 4 and 5 today! They were awesome and performed with confidence and as a team! Thank you Mrs Irvine and Lucas for providing this fantastic opportunity for our children! ⭐️🎶⭐️🎶
