Hi, I’m Elyse – Your New Family Support Advisor
I’m so excited to be joining the team as your new Family Support Advisor! Supporting families is something I’m very passionate about, and I’m here to offer a listening ear, practical help, and a safe space to talk through whatever’s going on—big or small. Nothing is too small to reach out about. Whether you need help navigating services, are facing a challenging situation, or just want someone to talk to, I’m here for you. I truly believe in the strength of families and the power of community, and I’m really looking forward to getting to know you all.

Service Family Support
We recognise the extra challenges that Service Families can face and we have developed several ways to make sure that they feel supported.
We run lunchtime Keeping in Touch (KIT) Clubs for all of our Service Children every Tuesday. These lunchtime sessions are drop ins and give the children the opportunity to chat about parents who are deployed with other children who understand them.
We always have fun activities at KIT Club and the children love coming along.
FFUN Club!
I run after school clubs for service families and these are called "FFUN" (Forces Families United) clubs. FFUN Club is held straight after school at The Crownhill Family Centre which is only a short 10 minute walk away. The get togethers are a great way to meet other service parents. Refreshments are provided, as are snacks for the children and an art activity.
