Our schools are minimising the number of visitors they receive, as well as the amount of time visitors spend on the school premises, during the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. This will help to minimise group mixing and make it easier to maintain social distancing in school.
We expect all visitors to: 1. only visit the school premises if absolutely necessary. Please phone instead, request a call or request an online meeting if possible. 2. not enter the premises if you or any members of your household have symptoms of coronavirus. 3. clean your hands with alcohol gel (provided) when you enter and leave the building. 4. follow the same procedures as those in place for staff, ie social distancing (2m), avoid touching surfaces and do not enter areas of the school without the permission of staff.
Thank you for your support in keeping our pupils, staff and families safe.
We have a breakfast club that takes place every school weekday morning between 7:30 and 8:45.
Mrs Brimming leads the team and is supported by Mrs Bray, Mrs Burt, Mrs Kempe and Mrs Wiffen.
The cost per morning is £2.80 for a first child and £2.50 for subsequent children, this includes a breakfast menu of cereal, bacon, beans and toast with a selection of toppings and hot/cold drinks.
When the children have eaten breakfast they have a choice of games to play and activities to use until the start of the school day.
If you would like more information please contact the school.

After School Care Club
Our After School Care Club operates on all pupil school days and is open to all Widey Court Primary School pupils. Opening times are from 3:15 pm until 6:00 pm daily, Mrs Riggs leads the team and is supported by Mrs Newcombe, Mrs Matthews and Miss Keily. A number of planned and 'free choice' activities are set up in the hall for the children to enjoy and a quieter area is available for children who want to rest or look at a book. Children are encouraged and supported with any homework they wish to complete whilst at the club. Weather permitting, we also provide time to play outside as we try to make as much use as possible of the large outdoor space that we are fortunate to have here at Widey Court.
A light, healthy snack such as toast/crackers/crumpets etc is provided along with a drink of juice/water. Fresh fruit and water are available every day for children to help themselves.
Each academic year there is a small registration fee of £5.00 per family, or £3.50 for Spring and Summer terms and £2 for just the Summer term. Fees are as follows:
First child: daily £5.50, weekly £25.00
Second and subsequent children £4.50, £20.00
Should you wish to register your child or if you require any further information, please contact our club leader, Mrs Tina Riggs, via the After School Care Club mobile phone Tel: 07786668427 or collect a registration form from reception.
