School Uniform & PE/Games Kit

Children are not permitted to wear earrings to school.

Newly pierced ears can take a period of up to six weeks before sleepers and studs can be removed.  Ears should be pierced at the start of the summer holidays to allow sufficient time for earrings to be safely removed. 

Winter – Years 1-6 Inclusive

 

Boys: - grey trousers, white shirt, bottle green ‘V’ necked pullover with school badge, grey socks and black or brown shoes only (no trainers, high heeled shoes or fashion boots).

Girls: - grey skirt, pinafore or grey straight legged (non-fashion) trousers, white shirt, bottle green   cardigan / ‘V’ neck pullover with school badge, school tie. White socks, bottle green/black/grey tights. Black, brown or grey shoes only (no trainers, high heeled shoes or fashion boots).

 

Hair accessories should be green, gold or black. and of an appropriate size (Jojo bows, hair gel or styling products  are not permitted) Shoulder length and longer hair must be tied back and secured away from the face.

 

 

Foundation Children Winter and Summer

 

White cotton polo shirt and bottle green sweatshirt with the school badge. A pair of grey straight legged trousers which the children can manage independently and is also appropriate for outside play.

 

Girls have the option of wearing a skirt with an elasticated waist. However pinafore dresses and tights must not be worn because of their unmanageability and the teaching time lost when changing and are not as appropriate for outside play.

 

Black, brown or grey shoes only (no trainers, high heeled shoes or fashion boots).

Summer – Years 1-6 Inclusive

 

Boys: - grey trousers/shorts, white shirt – short sleeved (not polo Shirt) with a tie. Grey socks and black, brown or grey shoes (no trainer, high heeled shoes or sandals).

 

Girls : - grey skirt/pinafore and white blouse (not polo shirt) which may be worn without a tie. Bottle green and white gingham (checked) dress. White socks, black, brown, grey or white shoes may be worn (these must be closed toes) (no trainers, high heeled shoes or sandals).

 

Hair accessories should be green, gold or black. and of an appropriate size (Jojo bows, hair gel or styling products  are not permitted) Shoulder length and longer hair must be tied back and secured away from the face.

 

Games/PE

 

PE Tops

 

Children wear polo shirts in their house colours with white shorts.

 

Charles – Green

Heale – Red

Maurice – Blue

Widey – Yellow

 

Plimsolls/trainers/football boots as appropriate.

 

Black track suits for children to wear over their PE kit when outdoors in the winter.

PE kits must be kept in school in an appropriate PE bag; rucksacks are not permitted in school for any reason.

 

You can purchase book bags, PE bags, summer caps and woollen hats at the school front reception desk and a water bottle – (with your child's school house coloured lid).

 

To reduce lost property, please clearly mark all clothing, bags, bottles etc with your child’s name. There is a lost property box. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to an individual’s property.
